Windows 7 can not detect my DVD drive how to fix this?
Some
times DVD drive not detect in your windows7 but its show in bios and driver is
proper.
Here
is solution for this issue
Go
to Start > Run and type regedit then
navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CEBFC1-08002BE10318}
Now
in the right windows delete upper and lower filters
Ignore
entry upperfilters.bak and lowerfilters.bak
If
you are not done with this process reset drive letter for complete process,
Go to
start and type Disk Management the select Create
and format hard disk Partitions
In this
wizard your optical drive is visible then right
click and select change drive letter
and paths
Then
select Change and choose a new
letter
Now
if you done to see your drive in Explorer, then repeat the process to change
drive letter back,
If drive
is not visible Restart your computer
and it should appear.
